In the late 1960s Joe Brennan set out to bake fresh bread daily and started a bakery where talented individuals put their best work into the hands of thousands of people every day.

We are seeking a Head of Operations who want to grow with us, be part of the story, and play a role in shaping the future of our bakery.

The Head of Operations will provide strategic and operational leadership across the business, ensuring that people, processes and resources are effectively managed to deliver safe, efficient and high quality operations. The successful candidate will drive performance, productivity, continuous improvement and cost efficiency while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, health and safety and regulatory compliance.

The Person

  • Previous experience within a bakery, food production, manufacturing or related environment is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of bakery operations, production processes, quality standards, food safety and the challenges of managing a fast paced, high volume production environment.
  • A third level qualification in business, management, operations or related qualification an advantage.
  • Leadership and People Management expertise
  • Strategic Planning and Thinker to translate business objectives into clear operational plans        
  • Proven record in Operational Management
  • Experience in Project and Change Management  
  • Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing mindset
